Hi guys,
today a little look at my latest build I call this one “The Cadillac CBG” it is a Cigar Box Guitar with a Dog Bowl Resonator.
I made one of these before, but with a large Wine Box, I was happy with it, but some thought it a bit big!
Now I have built one using a Cigar Box and it is a lot smaller, but has a big sound!
Here above is a closer look at the Box.
I hope that you can see from the picture above, the Action, Bridge and Tail Piece.
Here is a better look at the Dog Bowl, bought from an actual Pet Shop!

Good CBG though, this one, not sure that it sounds like a true Res, but it does have a lovely clear tone, both acousticly and through an amp, check out this demo video!

the sound is friggin awesome both acoustic and electric and i like your playing you should put a cd out or something…

glad you like, StumbleCol have 2 CD`s out and a third nearly finished, you can download the first 2 from this site for £5 each or search for StumbleCol on Reverb Nation, there are some tracks on there that are free to download.
If you ment an album of the act from the Cambridge CBG fest, then that maywell still happen, we will be hosting the the First ever event under name The Cambridge Cigar Box Guitar Club, Saturday 29th September, same venue as Fest. This new club will meet last Saturday of each month with Feature Acts, Guests Show Cases and Open Mics, we intend to record featured acts properly, we will produce a spin off Radio Show and by next summer will have enough acts recorded, to produce an album for The Cambridge Cigar Box Guitar Festival 2013.

That is great, where do the pickups go??
I glued 2 Piezo`s to the underside of the Dog Bowl, under the bridge.
