StumbleCol Wishin` I Was Out It

by Colin Merry on November 16, 2019

Hi guys,

I have a new video clip to share with you today, it is of my original song, Wishin` I Was Out Of It.

I actually wrote this song nearly 30 years ago, after a messy break up.

The song was originally written and played in Drop D, I worked it out recently in Open D, but then tried it in Open C and much preffered it there.

So, now playing it in Open C, on my B Series, National Reso Phonic, 14 Fret Guitar, in black rust finish. This is the modern NRP version of an early twentieth century National Duolian.

The Harp is a Lee Oskar Low F.

I have ditched the Cigar Box Guitars and Backing Tracks and Foot Drum, for now and have returned to my acoustic roots, and am working on a one man acoustic show and am recording a new acoustic album, heavily influenced by foundation Blues, Americana, Folk, Country and British Indie, featuring my small but beautiful National Resophonic Guitar collection.

If you enjoyed this post, please share it for me,

Many Thanks,

Stumble On,

Col
